What do I need to wear and how do i prepare for a class?

We recommend wearing comfortable clothes that are easy to move in and be aware that all classes will be practiced in bare feet. Please avoid eating at least 2 hours before any class. There will be some mats available to use but we encourage our students to bring their own mats. It is also advisable for your comfort to have socks, jumpers or a blanket to keep you warm if your class includes relaxation or meditation.

Do I need to make a reservation before class or can I just show up?

6 or 12 week class passes can be purchased please book your space in advance as spaces are limited. Before your first class, we ask that you complete a booking form for your preferred class, along with a brief medical questionnaire.

Do I have to be fit and flexible?

Definitely not! There are many different styles and classes that will be taught in the centre so you can choose the one that suits your needs! In the centre we welcome everyone regardless of age or ability and we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

What if I have an injury, physical limitation or pregnancy?

Please note that all students need to fill in a medical questionnaire. In all of these cases it is very important that the teacher is informed and advice you or discuss with you any modifications before the start the class. We can arrange Individual Yoga tuition. We also have a range of treatments available in our therapy room.

It is very important for us to see one getting the benefits of the practices he chooses; remember that in practices such as Yoga and Pilates the benefits of a regular practice can be a transforming experience.

We look forward to seeing you in class at Heart + Space.
